Bamboo Rafting
Glide gently down the river on a traditional bamboo raft and experience the jungle from a whole new perspective. Only the splash of the water and the songs of the birds keep you company.
Your experienced guide steers the raft safely through the gentle rapids. There is time in between for a refreshing dip in the clear water.

Sea conditions can vary, and getting on and off the boat still requires care. If you are traveling with a young child or someone who needs help moving around, please let us know before booking so we can check whether this trip is suitable for your group.
Seating on the Catamaran
This is what the seating area looks like on board. The seats face forward in rows beneath a covered roof, with open sides that let in natural light and sea views. It's a pleasant place to sit together, enjoy the journey and take a break from the sun between stops.
The layout may appeal to families traveling with children, older guests and anyone who prefers to have a seat for the boat ride. If your group would like to sit close together, please tell us when booking so we can pass on your request. Seating depends on availability on the day.
Sea Turtles of the Similan Islands
Sea turtles are among the most special animals living around the Similan Islands. They are protected wildlife, and some parts of the national park are kept away from tourist visits. Turtles are known to live and feed around Islands No. 1, 2 and 3, where our tour does not stop, though one may occasionally swim through the waters around Island No. 4 or appear during a snorkeling stop.
If you happen to see one, please enjoy the encounter from a distance without touching, feeding or following it. A turtle sighting is entirely up to nature and can never be promised. If you do not see one, there is still plenty to enjoy beneath the surface, from small tropical fish to the changing colors of the underwater landscape.
Clownfish Beneath the Surface
While snorkeling around the Similan Islands, you may spot colorful clownfish sheltering among the swaying tentacles of a sea anemone.
Take a moment to watch them from a distance and enjoy this small glimpse of life beneath the waves.
Beneath the Water at the Similan Islands
A school of small fish moves above the coral formations, adding flashes of yellow and blue to the underwater scene.
Take your time while snorkeling and see how much life you can spot beneath the surface.
The View from Sail Rock
Sail Rock is one of the most memorable viewpoints on the Similan Islands. After making your way up the rocky path, the view opens across a sheltered bay and the Andaman Sea: close to shore the water glows turquoise, farther out it turns a deeper blue, framed by granite boulders and green hills.
Take a moment at the viewpoint to look beyond the beach below, where you can appreciate the shape of the coastline and the colors of the sea in a way you cannot see from the shore. It's a beautiful place to pause and take photographs before heading back down to the beach.
Snorkeling at the Similan Islands
Our Similan Islands program usually includes two snorkeling stops, with around 15–20 minutes in the water at each location. You'll have time to look for tropical fish and explore the underwater scenery at a relaxed pace.
The exact snorkeling spots and time spent in the water may change depending on the tides and weather conditions on the day. The boat crew will choose suitable locations based on the conditions.
