A Little Mahout Experience
Walk alongside the young elephant and enjoy a moment as a "little mahout." The elephant's mahout stays with you throughout the activity, showing you how to walk together and interact with the elephant.
Our driver will also accompany you and help take photos, so you can keep the memories of your visit.
Making Fruit Sushi for the Elephants
One of the most enjoyable parts of our elephant experience is preparing a treat with your own hands. At the activity table, you can choose from fresh fruit and use sticky rice to create your own version of "fruit sushi" for the elephants.
Once your fruit sushi is ready, you get to offer your creation to the elephants yourself. Watching them reach for something you have just made is a memorable way to end the activity, a simple, hands-on experience for guests of all ages.
Walk Alongside the Elephants and Feed Them
Enjoy a gentle walk alongside the elephants and spend time observing them up close. As you walk, you may offer them fruit provided for the activity, following the mahout's guidance on when and how to feed them.
The mahout stays with the elephants throughout the walk, so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Our driver can also help take photos of these moments for you.
Relaxing Bamboo Rafting in Khao Lak
Sit back on a traditional bamboo raft and let the river carry you through Khao Lak's green surroundings. Trees line the banks, and the clear water lets you enjoy the scenery as you glide gently downstream.
A local raftman steers the raft for you, so there is no need to paddle. The journey usually takes around 45 minutes to one hour depending on the water level, an easy, relaxing way to see another side of Khao Lak.
Wat Khuk Khak
Wat Khuk Khak, officially known as Wat Khomniyakhet, is located in the Khuk Khak area of Takua Pa and was founded in 1909. The Buddhist temple has long been a place of worship and community life for local residents.
Discover the murals inside the ordination hall and learn about Luang Por Waeng, a former abbot who remains deeply respected to this day.
Sea Turtle Conservation
Discover a different side of Khao Lak with a visit to a sea turtle conservation centre, where you can see sea turtles up close.

A Private Hour with Your Elephant
When you book this experience, your elephant activity is private to your group. For approximately one hour, you can spend time with the elephant without joining other guests: walk alongside her, offer food and enjoy the bathing activity, with the mahout there to guide you.
Your visit does not have to end when your private hour is over. Afterwards, you are welcome to walk around the camp and see the other elephants, including young ones from around two years old, a lovely chance to see how each has a personality of its own.
Make Fruit Sushi and Feed the Elephants
At Elephant Home, you can make your own fruit sushi using sticky rice and fresh fruit. When your creation is ready, you can walk around the camp and offer it to any of the elephants you would like to meet, with the mahouts guiding you during feeding.
It's a lovely way to get creative, meet the different elephants in the camp and see how each one responds to the treat you made yourself.
