Little Amazon
Step into a canoe and discover a quieter side of Phang Nga at Khlong Sang Ne, the waterway known as the Little Amazon, where old banyan trees form a green tunnel over the water.
A local paddler takes care of the canoe, leaving you free to enjoy the surroundings and take photos.
Bangmara Hill
Head up to Bangmara Hill for a Sky Walk and suspension bridge offering panoramic views over Takua Pa town, plus a sacred site with a massive 9-metre statue of Guan Yu for visitors to pay their respects.
There is also a family zone decorated with dinosaur statues, a water park, and the colourful Rainbow Street for photos.
The Historic Stilt Village of Koh Panyee
Koh Panyee was founded more than 200 years ago by Muslim fishermen from Indonesia and is built almost entirely on stilts above the sea.
Here, we will stop and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at an elegant restaurant with beautiful views.
Wildlife and Ecosystem Watching
Besides the macaques swinging through the treetops, the highlight that excites visitors most is spotting snakes, such as gold-ringed cat snakes or green snakes, coiled up on branches right above their heads—up close yet completely safe.
There are also various bird species such as cormorants, and sometimes you might even spot hornbills or other reptiles.
Ancient Banyan Tree Tunnel
Both sides of the canal are lined with century-old banyan and pong-pong trees, their branches and hanging roots draping over the water to form a curtain-like tree tunnel.
A peaceful, roughly one-hour rowboat cruise lets you take in this mysterious, shady atmosphere up close.
Dredger Cafe
Immerse yourself in the classic atmosphere of Dredger Cafe, a uniquely cool tin-dredger-designed cafe, and feast on a hearty selection of delicious meals—from hot Moo Krata (Thai BBQ) to spicy fresh seafood and refreshing drinks.
