A Little Nemo Village
One orange fish peeks out from a sea anemone – then you notice another, and another! While snorkeling around the Surin Islands, some spots can feel like a little "Nemo village" beneath the water.
Watch the clownfish swim around their anemone, dart into its tentacles and reappear a moment later. Take your time, stay calm in the water and enjoy the scene from a respectful distance.
The Moken Village on Koh Surin Tai
The Moken village is located on Koh Surin Tai and is home to the Moken community. During a visit, you can see the homes along the shore and learn about the community's close connection to the sea.
The village also offers souvenirs and locally made crafts, including woven baskets and small carved boats. Please remember that this is a lived-in village and ask permission before photographing people.
